An Invitation Before Our Commission Chat
Before We Meet
If you’ve booked a commissioned art session with me, this little note — and the video below — is for you.
Our time together is only thirty minutes. In that half hour, we talk about your journey and what wants to be remembered from it. Then we turn those feelings and moments into a piece that will live with you for years.
It’s gentle.
It’s deep.
And it’s all about you.
✦ A Gentle Way to Prepare (Optional)
To help you arrive feeling open and ready, I made a short video with a few simple practices you can try at home.
They take ten to fifteen minutes and are designed to wake up the quiet knowing inside you.
You do not have to do them.
Many people come with no preparation at all, and we still create something beautiful.
If you feel stuck or blank, these little exercises can help things begin to flow.

✦ What the Video Guides You Through
In the video, I invite you to:
breathe onto the page with soft lines
feel one strong emotion from your journey and let your hand move
play with tiny thumbnail layouts to notice what feels right
That’s all.
Nothing fancy. Just paper and pencil — colors if you want them.
✦ What to Bring to Our Session
When we meet, you can bring those scribbles with you.
Or you can come empty-handed.
Either way works.
We’ll look at what showed up, listen to what wants to stay and what wants to shift, and shape a piece that feels exactly like your story.
✦ About the Commissions
These commissioned pieces are meant to be quiet reminders.
A small circle: $111
A larger 9×12 watercolor piece with an 11×14 frame: around $300
Choose the size that fits your space — and your heart.
If you choose to try the practices beforehand, go slowly.
There is no wrong way.
And if you’d rather simply show up and let everything unfold on the call, that is perfect too.
I can’t wait to hear your story and see what wants to be born.
